“Academic, personal and cultural excellence” is the motto of the Belmont Follow The Dream program. With a focus on goal setting, pathway planning and meaningful reflection on progress and achievement, all students enrolled in the program at Belmont develop individualised learning plans that aspire to excellence.
Located on traditional Whadjuk Noongar land, the program supports students in years 7 to 12 attending Belmont City College, Como Secondary College and Kent Street Senior High School. Each student commits to a tutoring target of 30 hours per term and maintains a school attendance of over 90%. A focus on both ATAR and VET pathways allows for specialised tuition matched with each student’s needs.
100% of year 12 students enrolled in the program successfully graduate with their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). Students also achieve an impressive array of school awards for learning area excellence & citizenship, City of Belmont and Belmont MLA community awards, and WA Department of Education awards.
At Belmont Follow The Dream, we enrol families too. We encourage two-way communication between the Program Coordinator and families, ensuring the personal wellbeing and academic goals of each student are nourished.
Belmont Follow The Dream is proudly partnered by BHP and the WA Department of Education.
