Alice Springs Follow The Dream

Approximately 30 students from Centralian Middle School (Years 7 – 9) and Centralian Senior College (Years 10 – 12) participate in the Alice Springs Follow the Dream program.

Approximately 30 students from Centralian Middle School (Years 7 – 9) and Centralian Senior College (Years 10 – 12) participate in the Alice Springs Follow the Dream program.

The program is delivered on-site at the respective schools and provides students a seamless transition from Middle School to Senior College.

Students from both schools have access to tutors with many areas of expertise, and are supported in establishing strong learning skills and academic success.

The well-resourced centre of Alice Springs provides numerous opportunities to learn about a wide range of training and employment options in the local area.

Students also travel interstate each year on an educational, cultural and adventure camp, which includes tours of universities, TAFEs and other training organization.

The cultural and geographical significance of the regions visited is also explored, with opportunities for leadership and personal development. Students return with a greater appreciation for the diverse range of career options available nationwide, as well as an enhanced understanding of Australia’s cultural and geographical diversity.

The Australian Government’s Indigenous Advancement Strategy proudly supports the Alice Springs Follow the Dream program.
