The Bradshaw and Gillen Learning Clubs provide literacy and numeracy support for younger pupils.
The Clubs incorporate fun and interactive activities designed to improve school attendance, enrich academic performance, and celebrate culture and heritage. The focus on personal development improves both educational and social skills as children progress through primary school and into secondary school.
The dedicated Program Coordinators at each Club, supported by teams of experienced tutors, deliver programs that interweave educational and socially-orientated activities in a rich, fun and encouraging learning environment. Parents, carers and the local community regularly join the students and contribute to the learning activities.
The Australian Government’s Indigenous Advancement Strategy proudly supports the Alice Springs Clubs.
