Aspirant students are selected from three feeder schools in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder region: Kalgoorlie- Boulder Community High School, John Paul College and Eastern Goldfields College (the host school).
Approximately forty students are enrolled on the Program each year and attend up to four sessions per week, which take place straight after school and always begin with a delicious afternoon tea. Specialist tutors from within Eastern Goldfields College and elsewhere support participants across all curriculum areas. Tutors build strong relationships with the students, encouraging and supporting them to develop skills, complete school work and take advantage of a broad range of educational and personal development opportunities.

A major incentive for Program participants is the Interstate University Camp which is provided for those students who actively engage with the Program, have a high attendance rate and focus hard on their education.
As well as getting a taste of university life and learning about different course options, students have the opportunity to travel to new areas and explore the local culture.
Kalgoorlie Follow the Dream Program is proudly supported by BHP, Anglo Gold Ashanti and Wesfarmers.
