Derby Follow the Dream
Approximately thirty students from Derby District High School in Years 7 – 12 participate in the Derby Follow the Dream program.
Approximately thirty students from Derby District High School in Years 7 – 12 participate in the Derby Follow the Dream program.
Known locally as Kilaywali Bookarri, the program is delivered on-site in a purpose built learning environment where students access specialist tutor support from teaching and non-teaching staff who have a wide range of skills across different areas of expertise interests.
Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities to help them develop their organisational skills, leadership capabilities, and resilience. Most importantly, students participate each year in a cultural camp to build their knowledge of self, their culture and the depth of extended families.
