Approximately 30 students from Year 7 – 12 participate in the Gilmore Follow the Dream program. Gilmore College also offers a Follow The Dream Outreach Program that supports aspirant Year 11 and 12 students who attend other secondary schools within the City of Rockingham.
Approximately 30 students from Year 7 – 12 participate in the Gilmore Follow the Dream program. Gilmore College also offers a Follow The Dream Outreach Program that supports aspirant Year 11 and 12 students who attend other secondary schools within the City of Rockingham.
The program provides all students with an Individual Education Plan and are encouraged to work hard towards achieving their social, emotional and academic potential.
Students are supported in developing their literacy and numeracy skills to a high level through specialist tutoring and a range of educational support programs, including Education Perfect, Connect, Mathspace, Mathletics and Spellodrome.
Gilmore Follow The Dream has a heavy emphasis on STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), with students actively encouraged to apply for extra-curricular educational opportunities, including Year 8 Science Discovery Day (UWA), Aboriginal Summer School for Excellence in Technology & Science (ASSETS), and the Indigenous Australian Engineering School (IAES).

In 2017, Gilmore Follow The Dream students were awarded the Mechanical Design Award which recognized their creativity and innovation.
Follow The Dream students in Gilmore consistently demonstrate leadership within the school community and wider Kwinana community. Many students on the program have been awarded Leadership, Youth, Respect in Kwinana (LyriK) Awards, which celebrate their achievements in leadership, respect, teamwork, and mateship.
