Established in 2004, the Mandurah Program now has 60 students enrolled in the program, with approximately 15 students from each participating school.

Each afternoon after school, students come together for an afternoon tea and a yarn. This is an opportunity to build relationships with peers and tutors in a relaxed atmosphere, before heading to a dedicated classroom for study and mentoring.

Located on Noongar Land, the Centre focuses on developing students’ understanding of their culture, with a range of visits, excursions and guest speakers.

These include performances by Aboriginal artists, camps to build personal pride and leadership, and career pathway planning. Many of these opportunities also give students the chance to meet and network with other  students.

The Program is proudly supported by the Sara Halvedene Foundation, Wesfarmers Ltd, and WA Department  Education.
