Approximately 40 students from years 7 to 12 at Tom Price Senior High School participate in the Follow the Dream program.

The Tom Price Enrichment Centre or Garnjurri Mirnumurri Ngurr-unga (Children’s Learning Place) is located in a nearby Rio Tinto building that has been modified to suit the needs of the program.
Students involved in the program come from Tom Price, Paraburdoo (80km south), and the Aboriginal communities of Wakathuni and Bellary. Students who do not live in Tom Price are able to access the program via a bus service that takes them home after the Follow The Dream sessions finish.

The program supports students with their academic and career aspirations in an encouraging and welcoming environment.
Students have access to expert tuition provided by a variety of talented and enthusiastic tutors, usually from the teaching staff at Tom Price Senior High School.

There are a number of educational, cultural and adventure excursions organised throughout the year, including tours of universities, workplace visits, trips to Perth, and an end-of-year camp.
The program was established in 2002 and is supported by the Western Australian Department of Education, Rio Tinto, Gumala Aboriginal Corporation and the IBN Corporation.
