KIM FARMER
KIM FARMER is the daughter of Polly Farmer. She has continued her dad’s commitment to the Polly Farmer Foundation and is the vice chairperson of the Foundation.
Kim is currently a Magistrate of the Children’s Court of Western Australia.
STEVE HAWKE
STEVE HAWKE has published nine books, including fiction, children’s fiction, biographies and social history, and the stage play Jandamarra. His second book, published in 1994, was a full-length biography of Polly Farmer. He lived and worked in the West Kimberley from 1978 to 1991, and since then has lived in the Perth Hills. He has worked with and for Indigenous organisations in the Kimberley and throughout this time, on a wide range of community and cultural projects.
