Woodside
“Woodside’s vision for reconciliation is to walk alongside the local Indigenous community in a relationship of mutual respect, to provide opportunities that contribute towards the community’s aspirations of a sustainable future. Our support of the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation is just one example of how Woodside, our joint venture participants in the North West Shelf Project and the Indigenous community are working together to make a difference for young Aboriginal people through education. We first partnered with the Foundation in 1997 and we look forward to many more years of working together to provide future opportunities for the next generation of students.”

North West Shelf Partners
“As operator of the North West Shelf Project facilities, Woodside is committed to developing and maintaining strong relationships with the communities in which we operate. We are proud to have supported the inaugural Follow The Dream program in Karratha (also known as Gumala Mirnuwarni) since it was launched in 1997 to help Indigenous students achieve their potential. This innovative program has achieved significant improvements in educational outcomes for Indigenous students and, over the last two decades, has been rolled out by the Foundation to many locations around Australia. We have also extended our support to the Roebourne Learning Club, which is an educational enrichment program for primary school aged students. We commend the achievements of all participating students and alumni, as well as the significant results the programs produce.”

Sara Halvedene Foundation
“The Sara Halvedene Foundation was established in June 2005 to assist Australians in developing a more equitable and sustainable country. Ensuring that quality education is provided for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is one of the keys to achieving this goal. In 2009, we were delighted to embark on a long-term partnership with the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation. Through this partnership we support the Follow the Dream program in Mandurah (WA) and Muswellbrook (NSW). Our Foundation also provides scholarship opportunities for selected Follow the Dream students, to enhance their educational development. We are very proud to support the work of the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation and to play our part in empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to achieve their full potential at school and in life.”
