Fremantle College helping Indigenous students to follow their dreams
SHOWING students the many career pathways available to them after school is just one goal behind Fremantle College’s Follow the Dream program
The voluntarily aspirant program is aimed at Aboriginal students, with Follow the Dream coordinator Nathan Dines saying it was all about getting students into meaningful jobs and training.
“They commit to coming twice a week after school,” he said.
“We support students with mentoring and after school tutoring to try and get them to achieve the best possible result they can on a day to day level.”
The program is co funded through the Department of Education and the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation.
