Canberra trip opens doors for students
Two Eastern Goldfields students were given insights into a career in the public sector this month during a Work Exposure in Government trip to Canberra from September 9 to 14.
The annual trip, facilitated by the Wesfarmers and Anglo Gold Ashanti’s Follow the Dream program and the Graham Polly Farmer Foundation, gives Aboriginal students the opportunity to complete their secondary school studies and find successful employment opportunities after graduation.
